- Xbox 360 Core (no HD) - $299.99
April 29, 2007

- The Xbox 360 Elite Console (120GB) launches
- Xbox 360 Elite (120GB) - $479.99
August 6, 2007
- Microsoft announces $50 price cut for Xbox 360 Premium. The Xbox 360 Elite is reduced by $30. Xbox 360 Core units are discounted by $20.
- Xbox 360 Premium (20GB) - $349.99
- Xbox 360 Core - $279.99
- Xbox 360 Elite - $449.99
October 27, 2007

- The Xbox 360 Arcade 'Family Console' is announced. This effectively replaces the original Xbox 360 Core units and includes a disk w/ 5 Xbox LIVE Arcade games and a 256MB memory card.

- The Xbox 360 Premium (20GB) is reduced $50 to $299.99. This was a move to clear out the 20GB Premium model stock, and make room for the new 60GB model.

September 3, 2008
- Microsoft announces all three current units are now selling for reduced prices. They are now the first next generation console to hit below the $200 price barrier. Price cuts are effective September 5, 2008.

- Xbox 360 Elite 120GB - $399.99
