PATIENCE PAYS OFF!
Whether you passed on paying full retail, or have arrived to the party late, welcome to 'The Price Drop'.
This week we have 3 noteworthy video game price drops to report.

Burnout Paradise (Xbox 36
0/PS3) was one of the most anticipated releases of 2008. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have solid Metacritic scores of 88 and 87 respectively. It has an open world set in the fictional Paradise City, with no loading times and no traditional online lobbies or game menus. Find both the Xbox 36
0 and PS3 versions available now for $19.99 ($10 price drop).

Next up we have the latest iteration of 2K Sports NBA2K9. The game was released in October 2008, to good reviews. Metacritic scores it at 84 on Xbox 360 and 82 on PS3. The game has been dropped to a low $39.99 ($20 price cut). In addition, you can use the 2K Sports coupon to get an additional $10 off (valid through January 31, 2009).

Finally, the last price cut to report is on Halo 3. Both Best Buy and GameStop have advertised Halo 3's price cut to $39.99 (from $59.99). Halo 3 originally released on September 25, 2007 and grossed US$300 million in its first week. Early adopters have likely moved on, but new Xbox 360 owners can add to Microsoft's Halo 3 take (albeit at a reduced $39.99).
